Get all the gears on your shiny Xbox one!
It can't be true all four gears of war games on your shiny xbox one? Well it is and it isn't at the same time. First everyone knows the first game has been completly remastered for the Xbox one. Most of my friends also know this is one of the remasters I am actually excited about. So to read that you can get all the Gears of war games on the new console well I was over the moon. So I read the piece a bit more. Found out it's not entirely accurate. If you play Gears of war Ultimate edition (and why wouldn't you?) on Xbox Live from Aug. 25 through Dec. 31, 2015. You’ll get access to Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgment in Backward Compatibility when it launches this fall.
So we all know what you get in the ultimate edition. You get the remaster of the first game with five extra missions so the battle is longer and more bloody than the first time around. As well as super updated graphics on the almost ten year old game, it was released back in 2006 feel old yet? Recaptured and rebuilt cinematics, and modernized gameplay for an even better experience. So great news for gears fans as well as the Gears of war 4 beta. I have been waiting for this more than I did the Halo Master chief collectio. Can't wait to dice me some locust.
Added to this all Gears of War titles will be supported on Backward Compatibility when it launches publicly this fall. This means if you own Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 orGears of War: Judgment on Xbox 360, you’ll be able to play them on your Xbox One and utilize some of your favorite next-gen features like Game DVR, Snap, screenshots and more. You can even keep all your previously-saved files, game add-ons, achievements and play with friends on Xbox Live no matter which Xbox console they’re on.
