Third game in series release date!
Hegemony (leadership or dominance, especially by one state or social group over others.) III is coming on the 25th of August by Longbow Games. Set for initial release on Steam as well as other digital platforms. Bring a direct sequel to their 2014 release Hegemony (is there a Hegemony II? I am reading this from the press release and even Google isn't coming up with anything on a hegemony II) . Hegemony III goes back to the founding years of Rome when the armies of Greece, Gaul (if there isn't a small village that you cannot invade as the romans I will sorely disappointed), Rome and Etruria battled for control of the Italian peninsula. Incorporating the series' trademark seamless blend of grand strategy and tactical combat, players will need to command armies and manage resources in order to forge the ancient world's next great empire.

“We've been running a closed beta with the community this summer and the response has been really great,” said Longbow Games President Rob McConnell. “We couldn't make these games without the support of the fans, and we're really grateful for this chance to combine the best elements of the first two games towards bringing a fascinating period of history to life.”
Hegemony III will be available for Windows PCs for $29.99 in the U.S.with corresponding prices in other regions. A launch discount of 10% will be available for the first week to all players on Steam, and owners of Longbow's earlier games Hegemony Gold: Wars of Ancient Greece or Hegemony Rome: The Rise of Caesar will receive an additional 20% off on Steam for the first two months.
